目的

To provide eligible employees additional time away from work during the summer months of June, 七月和八月.

In order to accomplish the objective of providing excellent service while maintaining the employee benefit of additional time off throughout most of the summer, staff will be provided flexible time-off options to be coordinated within their respective areas.

All university offices are expected to be open for regular business hours. Offices are to follow their regular business schedule, on a reduced staff basis if appropriate.

Department heads are encouraged to work within their areas to develop the work and time-off schedule that best meets the needs of the office and, to the greatest extent possible, the time-off preferences of each employee.

全职员工(1名).年总贸易量为0, 40 hrs/wk) in a “with benefits” status will be eligible to receive 40 hours (or 5 days) of paid time off during the summer months. 兼职职员(介乎 .5和 .99 FTE) regularly scheduled to work in June, July or August in a “with benefits” status are also eligible for this benefit on a prorated basis.

Employees hired in a “with benefits” status will be eligible to receive this benefit during their first full week of employment. Those individuals not regularly scheduled to work during the summer are also not eligible for the benefit.

夏季Flex使用

All summer scheduled time off should be reported on your time sheet. If you are nonexempt hourly, you will report your summer hours online choosing “夏天Flex For Hourly.” Exempt salaried employees will report their summer hours online choosing “夏天Flex For Salaried.” When vacation time is combined with summer flex in order to take a day away from work, the number of hours of each should be reported. 例如, a full-time employee who takes a day off might report 4 hours of vacation time and 4 hours summer flex time off.

Time is not required to be earned before it is taken. For a full-time employee, 40 hours will be available for use according to the chart below. All time not taken by the end date listed for each year is lost and may not be carried forward, 也没有补偿.

夏季Flex -终止

In the event of voluntary termination, summer flex hours will be prorated based on hours worked within the applicable period. If the prorated amount of summer flex hours have been exceeded, 欧洲杯足彩竞猜 will deduct the value of the difference from the final pay. The university does not compensate employees for unused summer flex at separation of employment.
